The Min H. Kao Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) is seeking candidates for tenure-track faculty positions with an anticipated appointment start of August 1, 2026. The positions are as follows:
Electrical Engineering (Assistant or Associate Professor) 2 positions
Computer Engineering (Assistant or Associate Professor)
Resilient Agriculture and Forestry Systems Cluster (all ranks)
Computational Precision Health and Environment Cluster (Assistant or Associate Professor)
Foundational Artificial Intelligence Cluster (Assistant or Associate Professor)
Plant Ecosystem Resilience in a Changing Environment Cluster (all ranks)
EECS, the largest department in UT’s Tickle College of Engineering, is thriving and excelling. According to U.S. News and World Report, our three programs - Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science - rank 31st, 38th, and 47th, respectively, among public universities.
