The Department of Finance and Real Estate in the College of Business at Colorado State University invites applications for two nine-month tenure-track positions in Finance. Rank is at the Assistant Professor level. The department has needs for faculty in the area of investments. The start date will be August 2026.

Required qualifications – Candidates must have (or expect to receive by the start of employment) a doctoral degree in Finance or a closely related field and demonstrated potential to publish in top finance journals. Candidates who are currently employed as an assistant professor must have an established record of publication in the top finance journals commensurate with rank and experience.
Preferred qualifications – Preference will be given to candidates with: (1) potential to publish articles in premier and high-quality finance journals; (2) evidence of an investments-focused research stream; (3) evidence of teaching effectiveness; and (4) ability to teach finance/investments courses.

The Department offers a Master of Finance, and undergraduate concentrations in finance, financial planning, and real estate.
