Description
The Department of Computer Information Systems in the College of Business at Colorado State University invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track position. Rank is at the Associate or Full Professor level. The Department has a strong record of research and teaching accomplishments and expects faculty to be active in the academic community. The anticipated start date is August 2026. Salary will be competitive based upon credentials and experience.

- A summary of recent evidence of teaching effectiveness (no more than 3 pages); and

Requirements
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Information Systems or a related field and demonstrated potential to publish in premier and high-quality scholarly journals. In addition:
For those applying as Associate Professor, preference will be given to candidates with:
- A record of publications in high-quality and premier information systems journals commensurate with academic experience;
- An active research pipeline with potential for publications in premier and high-quality information systems journals;
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness;
- Experience teaching and developing courses in contemporary/emerging IS areas such as cybersecurity, data management, analytics, machine learning, and AI;
- A record of impactful contributions to the discipline, their university, and/or the broader academic and professional information systems community through leadership roles.
For those applying as Full Professor, preference will be given to candidates with:
- A sustained record of publications in high-quality and premier information systems journals that reflects leadership in the field and is commensurate with the rank of Full Professor;
- A robust and active research pipeline with clear evidence of thought leadership and scholarly impact at the level of premier and high-quality information systems journals;
- A consistent record of teaching effectiveness, including mentorship of graduate students and/or junior faculty;
- Experience teaching and developing courses in contemporary/emerging IS areas such as cybersecurity, data management, analytics, machine learning, and AI;
- A demonstrated record of significant and sustained service with impactful contributions to the discipline, their university, and/or the broader academic and professional information systems community through leadership roles.
