Service Line Overview

KPMG Forensic leverages our vast industry experience and leading technologies to help clients handle fraud and misconduct

investigations, address complex regulatory compliance issues, and provide dispute advisory support in financial disputes that are likely to lead to litigation, arbitration, expert determination or mediation.

Our team has experienced forensic resources based in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. We provide clients with commercial and financial expertise in the areas of Anti-money Laundering/ Counter Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Compliance Services, Fraud Risk Management, Forensic Technology, Investigations, Cyber Response and Forensic Accounting services. We worked with industry professionals in Asia Pacific, and worldwide through the KPMG International Forensic network of over 3,600 professionals to conduct successful enquiries and analyze financial information across numerous jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for Senior Associates/ Associates in Hong Kong to help build out our AI solutions. We are open to in-house professionals with no prior consulting experience.

Your existing primary skill should ideally consist of at least 1 year in the development of Artificial Intelligence with experience in:
• Deploying machine learning models into production environments using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Using cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying and managing machine learning workflows
• Git for version control and collaboration
• Tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar for managing the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle.
• RESTful APIs for the integration of machine learning models into product environments
• Large Language Models (LLM)/GenAI technology like OpenAI API, ChatGPT, GPT-4, Bard, Synthesia, Langchain, HuggingFace Transformers, PyTorch
• Monitoring tools to track model performance, detect data drift, and trigger model retraining if necessary (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

You will provide high-quality, professional day-to-day execution of forensic engagements and projects in line with the firm's risk anagement practices for clients across a wide range of industries

We are looking for forward thinking, energetic and dynamic individuals, who possess good individual skills but who also understand the importance of teamwork and community.

They must be eager to engage with and develop expertise in multi-modal Generative AI tools, including Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT and visual models like Stable Diffusion.

Experience & Background
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Exposure in machine learning or data science, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end model lifecycle.
• Prior experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Recent graduates or candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be considered if they have project experience or strong references.
• Proven expertise in Python and machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, model versioning, and monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL, and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
