Description
The Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) Division of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Department at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invites applications for a full-time, tenured faculty position.
This is a university-year appointment and will be at the level of associate professor or full professor with tenure. We will also consider candidates who are currently advanced assistant professors. We seek a scholar who has demonstrated outstanding research accomplishment, excellence in teaching, and commitment to service. Successful candidates will focus on foundational work in artificial intelligence and/or statistical machine learning. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a related field. This position is part of a cluster hire with the Mathematics and Statistics departments and the CSE division of the EECS Department, and joint appointments can be considered.
