Salary: $72k/year plus competitive benefits package

Texas Majority PAC is a research and development institution dedicated to flipping Texas blue by building year-round Democratic infrastructure in the key regions of Texas. TMP invests in voter engagement and turnout programs in an effort to bring their work to the scale required to win statewide office in Texas.
Job Summary
Texas Majority PAC is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and talented Campaign Services Manager. This is a full time, year-round position responsible for working with candidates and campaign staff across the state to make better decisions and run more effective campaigns. The Campaign Services Manager will help candidates set up and launch campaigns, hire staff, raise money, run an earned media program, and contact voters in their districts at scale.
The ideal candidate has some campaign experience, and enjoys working with people, solving problems in creative ways, and redirecting people to more useful work when they get sidetracked. The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working with people who are frustrating, push back on their advice, and need lots of direction. Above all, the candidate should be a team player with an unwavering commitment to turning Texas blue.
The Candidate Manager is expected to lead and participate in events virtually and in-person, and extensive travel within the state of Texas will be required.
Responsibilities
- Engage in long-term planning and goal setting.
- Execute the PAC’s strategy to work with a cohort of Democratic candidates.
- Meet with potential candidates to help them understand whether running for office is the right decision for them.
- Plan and organize a variety of events with potential and actual candidates, including rallies and retreats.
- Maintain impeccable records of engagement with potential candidates.
- Analyze data to assess outreach efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
- Engage local progressive organizations and community leaders.
- Provide advice to Democratic candidates and execute a structured program to make their campaigns more effective.
Qualifications
- Commitment to electing all Democrats on the ballot, regardless of their specific ideology.
- Exceptionally well organized with strong time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds.
- Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Comfortable using technology including SMS, social media platforms, and voter databases.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment.
- Must have access to a vehicle or other reliable transportation and be willing to travel.
- At least two cycles of political experience, ideally in programmatic or campaign management roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with VAN
- Bilingual in Spanish & English
