Description
We offer an exciting opportunity to lead data strategy and accelerate business growth by enhancing the Chase customer experience.As a Data Owner Lead for Card Data Modelling and Mapping Specialist in our team, you will use your data engineering expertise to document and analyze data flows, optimize data architecture, and ensure data quality and reliability. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver critical business initiatives and support strategic objectives through effective data management.
Job responsibilities
- Document data flows across systems, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
- Analyze and map data attributes and system relationships to optimize integration.
- Develop and maintain data models supporting business objectives and governance.
- Design and monitor key performance indicators for data flow goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address data-related challenges and opportunities.
- Influence resources to resolve identified data issues promptly.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree and ten years of experience in a data-related field.
- Proficiency in data querying languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience in data engineering techniques including ETL processes and tools such as Erwin.
- Technical expertise in data management, data pipelines, data modeling, data architecture, and governance.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google, or Azure, and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, or Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of data quality, privacy, and security standards, and experience with data governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage delivery across multiple workstreams and communicate complex technical concepts to senior audiences.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes.
- Credit Card domain knowledge.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for data management and modeling.
- Effective communication skills and strong business acumen.
