Senior Analyst, Marketing Business Intelligence (Pricing Analytics), AbbVie US LLC, Irvine, CA. (100% telecommuting permitted). Partner with stakeholders to answer analytical questions critical to the success of our teams & our customers. Design innovative analytic approaches to test hypotheses, extract actionable insights by identifying patterns in structured & unstructured data & develop recommendations to drive business performance thru developing dashboards to enable clear visibility into business performance. Apply advanced analytics techniques (core statistical-modeling, data visualization, data mining) to extract actionable insights through analysis of large-scale, high-dimensional data. Work with data engineers to ensure accurate & up-to-date data power each analysis. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Intelligence/Analytics, Engineering or equivalent & 3 years of work experience driving business decisions with data-driven analyses. Of experience required, must have 3 years of each of the following: deciphering & generating complex SQL queries using window functions, CTEs & aggregate functions; generating business insights using Tableau, or PowerBI; mining, validating & structuring disparate datasets within the big data eco-system; applying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression & modeling to business problems; and translating data results in a non-technical format for written & oral presentations to business stakeholders. Work experience may be gained concurrently. In interview setting, must pass company's SQL, data visualization & business acumen test given to all applicants for position.
