Description
Job DescriptionSoftware (SWA) comprises the definition, specification, and allocation of requirements from different sources utilising knowledge of systems engineering processes (specification & architecture). Contains processing of use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional description. Covers specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of Software (e.g. device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software & firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process. Covers establishment and maintenance of Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices into software development projects, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems.
Responsibilities
- Experience in Customizing, Deploying & Integrating s/w with Nokia Core products
- Responsible for project KPI tracking and Quality delivery to customers.
- Internal & External Stakeholder Management with solution capabilities from multiple sources and technologies
- Create implementation plan for site integration, delivery and technical infrastructure documents.
- Contribute to gathering customer requirements, analysis, feature specification and requirement feasibility study.
- Contribute to migration procedures & contribute to knowledge documentation in various tools like SharePoint, Confluence, GIT etal.
- Work autonomously and effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services, Use understanding of how relevant areas integrate to achieve objectives.
- Co-ordination with all the team members & resolve the conflicts within the local team
- Individual Contributor role but Share initial ideas for professional direction of own organizational unit, act as a professional advisor and mentor for team.
- Managing the technical delivery from subco's and there day to day technical needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Domain knowledge on Core Nokia products
- +9 years extensive relevant experience with Leading and Managing the SW Project from Development till Delivery and Support.
- Knowledge of s/w services delivery and Care support.
- Knowledge on Kubernetes, Python/Java & Linux is an advantage.
- Expert in Rest APIs, Microservices, and Microservice based architecture
- Experience in Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, KAFKA and message broker architecture
- Experience in Data Visualization & exploration tools like OpenSearch, Victoria Matrice & Grafana, good knowledge of Database Management (both PostgreSQL and MySQL/MariaDB)
- Fluent English and Spanish
It would be nice if you also had:
- Understanding of the Java VM operation and how that relates to the Linux OS
- Good knowledge on Web servers like Tomcat/WebSphere/JBOSS
- Network data security and VPN connectivity, IPSEC
