Description
Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is looking for ambitious, detail-oriented mid-level Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator in Fort Collins, CO. This full-time, onsite assignment is 5 days per week and is anticipated to last 12 months and could be extended.
As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance across regional operations. The ideal candidate will have EHS experience in a high-risk technical environment, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing, or alternatively in laboratory or manufacturing settings with chemical hazards and hazardous production material gases.
Essential Functions may include but are not limited to:
- Partner with site and regional EHS teams to develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs, policies, and procedures that meet or exceed local, state, and federal regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, etc.).
- Maintain and manage EHS compliance calendars to ensure timely execution of audits, training, program reviews, and reporting requirements.
- Provide guidance and support for EHS initiatives across multiple facilities, with a focus on chemical safety, hazardous materials, and high-risk operational areas.
- Lead or support risk assessments, inspections, incident investigations, and hazard identification across sites.
- Administer and track required safety training programs, including but not limited to: Chemical Management, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Ladder Safety, Working at Heights, Lab and R&D Safety, Machine Guarding, Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical Safety, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
- Ensure teams are well informed of their responsibilities.
- Support emergency preparedness, response planning, and emergency drills in collaboration with site teams.
- Assist with reporting to regulatory bodies and tracking of environmental metrics such as air emissions, carbon credits, and indoor air quality assessments.
- Provide safety oversight for refurbishment of site processes and facilities management tasks. ensuring risks and hazards are controlled and safety protocols are enforced.
- Monitor EHS performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend or implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment with company-wide EHS goals and compliance objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience in the field as a Safety Professional.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, high-risk industrial operations, or laboratory spaces. Semiconductor manufacturing experience is strongly preferred; however, candidates with a background in manufacturing or laboratory environments with chemical hazards and hazardous production material (HPM) gases will be considered.
- Experience managing safety in global, multi-site operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to develop and implement global initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and/or environmental policy and regulatory compliance requirements (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and applicable local/state agencies).
- Proficiency in EHS management systems, auditing processes, and performance tracking tools.
- Must have a strong desire to talk with, influence, and directly interface with both clients and stakeholders. Additionally, must be able to take direction and coaching from both clients and team members.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to support regional travel to nearby facilities as needed.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Potential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical (safety sensitive roles). They must also have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment - Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:
- Sedentary to light work (typical office or administrative work)
- Frequently required to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
- Occasional lifting and carrying of low (under 25lbs) to moderate (25-49lbs) weight objects
- Repetitive motions: substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (including reaching)
- Subject to inside environmental conditions (protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change)
- Operation of motor vehicle
Additionally, if you are assigned work in the field at client project sites you will need to complete a medical surveillance/fitness-for-duty examination and maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:
- Medium to heavy work
- Subject to outside environmental conditions: heat/cold, wind, wet and/or humid, etc.
- Occasional stooping (bending body downward and forward), kneeling (bending legs at the knee), crouching (bending body downward and forward), and climbing
- Frequent lifting (including push/pull, hold/carry) of light, moderate, and possibly heavy-weight objects
- Subject to hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, including but not limited to: proximity to moving vehicles, parts, or equipment; exposure to chemicals; pressure (including noise); electrical hazards; biological hazards; excavation/trenching; confined spaces; elevated work; materials handling
- May be required to wear an air-purifying respirator
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant’s job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
