We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan.

* Minimum one year of Emergency Medicine experience in an NP/PA role required.

Corewell Health Lakeland Medical Center, a 196-bed hospital located in Berrien County, southwest Michigan, offers a wide range of advanced medical services. The hospital's specialized services include a chest pain center, stroke center, oncology, cardiology, pediatrics, and more. The hospital operates 24/7 with 42 private emergency department rooms equipped for cardiac observation and emergency care provided by board-certified physicians. It also features a fully accredited Osteopathic Emergency Medicine Residency program, which has been training medical professionals since 2011. Additionally, the hospital houses the Frederick S. Upton Education Center, which offers various health education programs for the community.

Corewell Health Lakeland is the primary healthcare system for Berrien County and serves patients from five surrounding counties. This not-for-profit community health system includes two acute care hospitals, one in St. Joseph and one in Niles. There are plenty of outdoor destinations to visit, such as Silver Beach, the St. Joseph Lighthouse, free weekly concerts at the John E. N. Howard Bell Shell, fishing on the lake or river, a variety of trails for hiking and biking, and several golf courses at nearby Benton Harbor. The St. Joseph River Yacht Club is known for it's sailing and swimming events, such as the annual Labor Day weekend Tri-State Regatta. St. Joseph also offers many quaint shops, restaurants, wineries, and brew pubs, as well as several museums, and the Box Factory for the Arts that hosts concerts, classes and special events. St. Joseph is also about 2 hours from the Chicago metropolitan area.
