We are looking for a Clinical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual who is hard-working, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced government contractor environment, and who has a positive energetic attitude. The position location is remote role (Ability to travel up to 70%)
OVERVIEW
The Functional / Solution Management Specialist is the field-facing support that assists with critical path success and mitigate site-level issues. Serves as the lead for field-facing pre-deployment analyses and assessments and ensure coordination with EHRM IO work streams. Provides program management accountability and project ownership; with responsibility for workplan development, data analytics, team task assignment and execution. Additionally, facilitates the assessment, alignment, and optimization of clinical/functional areas to meet EHRM-IO pre-deployment requirements. Primary POC for the coordination of functional workflow configuration projects and efforts.
The Functional / Solution Management Specialist will:
Align clinical, technical, and executive stakeholder across the organization in support of the project.
Will liaison between the Wave/VISN sites, and outside entities (EHRM IO, VHA, OHT, Oracle Health) as needed to support open communication channels.
Utilize project and program management methodology to drive delivery within timeline by developing and overseeing process to identify, manage and report progress, issues, and risks to project scope, quality, and timelines.
Identifies and escalates gaps and unresolved issues/critical risks that will affect achievement to project success.
Collaborates with teams and individuals to develop and propose solutions for government leads to implement for mitigation.

Qualifications
5 + years of professional work experience
Ability to travel up to 70%
Works independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment.
Acts as highest level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms.
Responsible for project completion.
Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs
Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field, or an additional 10 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements
