Job Description
- Compliance & System Implementation
- Develop and implement a compliant Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) aligned with ADOSH-SF.
- Maintain legal compliance with Codes of Practice, Technical Guidelines, and Mechanisms under ADOSH-SF
- Risk Management & Safety Planning
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement control measures for high-risk activities.
- Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans.
- Training & Awareness
- Lead HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and specialized training programs.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness campaigns and incentive programs.
- Monitoring & Reporting
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Conduct and lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are documented and implemented.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, ADM, ADPHC, and other regulatory bodies.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with HSE standards and manage their integration into the OSHMS.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing multicultural HSE teams.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Familiarity with airport operational safety protocols and civil infrastructure logistics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent.
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification.
- Registered OSH Practitioner under ADOSH-SF (or eligible for registration).
- Familiarity with EHSMS development, risk management, and contractor oversight under ADOSH-SF.
- IOSH Certified Member (CertIOSH) as minimum.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE management, with at least 5 years in large-scale civil construction.
