Description

This is an annual 10-month non-tenure track appointment with the opportunity to

teach in the summer as needed. Persons appointed to this rank assume an instructional role, to include teaching

(4:4) at the undergraduate level, advising, and participation in other professional service activities.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Master of Arts or Master of Science degree in a social or behavior science with coursework in cyber or online

behavior, or a J.D. with related cyberlaw training or professional experience as an attorney.

2. Ability to teach online and in person at the undergraduate level.

3. Willingness to teach Introduction to Cyberlaw and Introduction to Cybercriminology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to teach Introduction to Cyberlaw and other related law classes.
•  Demonstrated ability to teach Introductory to Cybercriminology.
•  Demonstrated ability to teach course work on cyber or online phenomena (e.g., course work in Digital Sociology, Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, Surveillance).
•  Demonstrated ability to teach introductory criminology/criminal justice classes.
