Description
The Translational Brain Imaging Laboratory, led by Dr. Ji Hyun Ko (Tier 1 Canada Research Chair), is inviting applications for a full-time Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our dynamic research team at the University of Manitoba. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead cutting-edge, imaging-guided brain stimulation studies in a collaborative and innovative environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a central role in multiple ongoing projects (see: www.kolabneuro.com), including:
- Analyzing multimodal brain imaging data (fMRI, DTI, PET)
- Developing novel imaging-guided brain stimulation protocols
- Leading high-definition transcranial direct current stimulation (HD-tDCS) studies
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
We seek a motivated and skilled researcher with a PhD in Neuroscience or a related field. Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
1. Machine learning applications in neuroimaging
2. Brain simulation platforms (e.g., The Virtual Brain)
3. Advanced statistical analysis of neuroimaging data
4. tDCS or HD-tDCS research and applications
