Description
The Meyer Lab in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is currently recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in reimagining how we discover and deploy drug combinations in the clinic. Our work is highly interdisciplinary, integrating high-throughput screening, state-of-the-art machine learning models, and systems biology to elucidate the mechanisms of drug interactions in complex biological systems, with a particular focus on infectious disease and cancer.
This position offers access to state-of-the-art facilities (e.g., High Throughput Bioscience Center, link 1 below), a collaborative and supportive research environment, and the opportunity to work on high-impact problems in human health. St. Jude offers highly competitive salaries (typically 20–25% above NIH guidelines) in a low-cost-of-living city, along with comprehensive benefits and robust support for professional development. For more information on living in Memphis, visit St. Jude’s Visiting Memphis webpage (link 2 below). This position is full-time, in person at the main campus in Memphis, TN.
Candidates with experience in high-throughput assays and/or quantitative microscopy are particularly encouraged to apply. We are seeking highly motivated, creative scientists who are willing to take intellectual risks to shape the future of combination therapy, thereby contributing to the institution’s goal of developing cures for catastrophic childhood diseases.
