Job Description
We are hiring a Project Manager role to assist in managing technical resources, allocate responsibilities and ensure that engineering tasks are completed to specification within an established timeframe and budget.

To excel in this role, you should have high coordination and planning skills coupled with excellent communication.

1. High-level documentation of new features to ensure requirements are well documented and understood.
2. Coordinate new feature implementation by translating requirements into specific tasks.
3. Documenting tasks on Jira and allocating tasks to the engineering team in coordination with the Engineering Lead, and maintaining constant follow-through to ensure successful implementation and deployment.
4. Play the role of scrum master and oversee the scrum process while creating a framework for accountability for delivery.
5. Follow up with implementation leads on the status of various projects to ensure all tasks are completed on time without fail.
6. Provide feedback and reports to the stakeholders on the status of the various projects and improve the project's implementation process.

Requirements

Must-Haves

1. At least 3 years of proven experience in software project management , ideally managing engineering teams.
2. At Least 2 years of experience in a tech company.
3. Strong knowledge and practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies .
4. Hands-on experience using Jira to manage tasks, sprints, and reporting.
5. Ability to translate business and feature requirements into actionable technical tasks for engineers.
6. Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, high-level documentation, and creating user stories/workflows .
7. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (verbal and written).
8. Strong team leadership skills , with experience coordinating, motivating, and holding software engineers accountable .
9. Effective time management and organizational skills , with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Proven problem-solving and risk management skills to proactively address delivery challenges.

Nice-to-Haves

1. PMP or other relevant project management certifications.
2. Background in software engineering or computer science (to understand technical requirements better).
3. Experience with software development cycle and product management.
4. Familiarity with SaaS project management or product implementation in tech environments.
