Overview:
A leading global hedge fund is seeking a Junior Quantitative Researcher to join its Exotics Investment team. This is an opportunity to work on complex derivatives, developing pricing models, risk tools, and analytics that directly support trading and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing models and risk management tools for exotic derivatives.
• Build and enhance analytics and trading tools to identify relative value opportunities.
• Work across the full lifecycle of quant projects: from understanding business problems and modelling solutions to coding production-ready tools.
• Collaborate closely with traders and senior quants in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong academic background: 2:1 or above in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a top university (MSc/PhD advantageous).
• 1-5 years' experience in a quantitative role within financial services, ideally with exposure to derivatives or structured products.
• Excellent mathematical intuition and understanding of derivatives pricing and risk.
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one object-oriented language (C++, Java, or C#).
• Familiarity with data analysis and statistical modelling; knowledge of machine learning is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
