Position Details
- Cover end-to-end project management for the entire lifecycle of the project from planning till launch including aspects such as (but not limited to) planning, risk management, requirements management, change management, and stakeholder management.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple technical/business teams to define and deliver on agreed-upon milestones.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs.
- Plan and coordinate events, including facilitation and action item management.
- Manage the Communication (Stakeholder Management, facilitation for the Project members Communication, Reporting).
- Risk management, Issue management, and Problem-solving.
- Project Management Best Practices Improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Senior technical project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.
- Oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, ensure responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of the project.
- Prepare reports for senior management regarding the status of the project.
- The successful candidate will work directly with stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- B.S in Science, Engineering, Mathematics
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of Software Development experience as main project manager of sizable projects
- Experience in working directly with software engineers, product managers, and BU
- Experience managing programs across teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with modern project and product management tools, preferably JIRA/Confluence and MS Project
- PMP or Scrum and/or Agile certifications
- Experience in project management of large production releases/operations of internet service
- Coding skills in any language
- Good understanding of distributed architecture, machine learning concepts
