Grainger Corporate Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Applied Machine Learning Science in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Machine Learning, Physics, Business Analytics, or related field plus 3 years related experience. Prior experience must include: develop and monitor end-to-end machine learning workflows in Databricks; Fine-tune LLMs and sentence transformers to enhance performance of retrieval tasks by learning user intent of search queries and improving the model's understanding of MRO language; Leverage AI, deep learning, and NLP techniques to improve competitor product matching and semantic search; Perform data mining using SQL, conduct exploratory data analysis and present insights to the client to enhance decision-making. 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $121,500.00 -$202,500.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
