Description
Small animal clinic is looking to add an engaged and enthusiastic veterinarian to our team of 2 doctors. We are looking for someone who is the right fit - that is the most important. You can be a new graduate or seasoned professional; you can be interested in a part-time or a full time position. We will consider it all to find the right person.
We would like someone who is interested in offering the best options to their clients and patients, with the ability to review alternative options as needed.
We value a commitment to hard work with a positive attitude, but we also value having fun and laughing often. When we first opened, a local radio station made a jingle about us. We are happy to send it to you if you are interested and you’d like an idea of what we are all about.
Who are we?
We are a privately owned clinic in Western Massachusetts that has been serving the community for 24 years. The clinic’s founding owner is still running the practice.
We value personalized care with an emphasis on client education. Appointment length is 30 minutes to allow for thorough education and discussion of clinical recommendations
We see dogs, cats, and smaller furry patients. If you are comfortable with small mammals, that is a bonus. However, if you aren’t, that is ok too.
What about the culture?
We want a doctor who is interested in adding to our clinic workplace and clinic community. Our focus is on continuously improving our practice of veterinary medicine and employee happiness.
At our clinic, there are countless opportunities for collaboration and support. Our collaboration includes daily team huddles that are held in the morning to review the plan for the day ahead, there are weekly case reviews with other doctors as well as monthly doctor meetings for protocol review and discussion
The owner really, truly listens to what your needs, desires and goals are. No, Really, he does! Both professionally and personally, he wants you to achieve your dreams in the clinical world while balancing that with happiness outside of work. Mental health and well-being is important to us. As such, we consistantly provide a three day weekend once to twice monthly to allow you to mentally reset.
