RESPONSIBILITES:
- Maintain responsibility for designing and developing complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
- Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
- Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
- Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
- Design, automate, and maintain large scale, enterprise-wide data warehouse applications using Oracle Exa Data, PL/SQL and data extract, transform and load tools like Informatica.
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools, Tableau, Cognos and MicroStrategy to analyze data, find patterns and generate data visualizations.
- Translate complex business requirements into data model to support advanced analytics, define data modeling standards, naming conventions and prepare data dictionaries.
- Write relational data manipulation packages using procedural SQL and data queries.
- Improve data processing time by optimizing queries, creating indexes and normalizing the data model.
- Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Engineering (any), or related and
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
- Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide data warehouse applications using Oracle Exa Data, PL/SQL and data extract, transform and load tools like Informatica;
- Utilizing Business Intelligence tools, Tableau, Cognos and MicroStrategy to analyze data, find patterns and generate data visualizations;
- Translating complex business requirements into data model to support advanced analytics, define data modeling standards, naming conventions and prepare data dictionaries;
- Writing relational data manipulation packages using procedural SQL and data queries; and,
